Computer Training

Computer Training

keyboard-learnMost businesses have some requirement for computer skills. Productivity then is very closely related to the skill of the end user. Whether it is just knowing the basics of using a computer and office software, to more in-depth training in specific applications, I have years of experience delivering training in the most common applications your users will need to use.

I also believe that one to one training is far more effective than classroom training. Users vary widely in their aptitude as well as in current skill level. This can make classroom training drag for the bright sparks, and leave slower learners with gaps as they struggle to keep up.

Pricing for typical courses in the basics of computer use can be seen here, but it is most likely your business will need a bespoke training package tailored to your needs. Please contact me to arrange a no obligation computer training quote.

Below is a list of just some of the training I can provide:

Operating system basics – including switching to Window 8!

Safe Internet use and Email Security – teach your users how to spot spam, virus or malware attachments, and phishing email and websites. Much cheaper than cleaning up the mess afterwards!

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Power Point

Microsoft Publisher

Adobe Photoshop (or other image editing software training)

Back-up basics

Network troubleshooting basics

Other application training can be arranged based on your needs.

Some of the training in more specialised areas may be delivered by one of my professional contacts.
